I like the vocal work on this album, but I think the album would have been very well off with nothing but the instrumentals. Speaking of which, the instrumentals here are almost perfect and they picture the nature-like essence of the flower patch mentioned in the title and managed to be attracting yet laidback.
This album sounds like being 6 years old and looking at flowers and ladybugs perched on top of blades of grass in your backyard while the birds are chirping during that seasonal transition period between spring and summer and coming inside and watching cartoons and eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that mom made special just for you :D
This record opened a whole world for me, highly recommend the busy signals and Sukpatch (or Slabco records in general but especially that band) If you're looking for more stuff like it!
